Of course not. But we have to represent it by English when we're dealing predominantly with Heortling characters. The "standard" language of the fictional world gets represented by the standard language of the real world: whatever either of those are for a certain set of circumstances.
Which, trying hard to be unbiased, possibly means that the English equivalent in Glorantha is actually New Pelorian?

And most Southern Brits would agree with you. Though Glaswegian is considerably worse. (Nick's right, though. They're accents, not dialects, as I understand the distinction. Same vocab and grammar, mostly, just different pronounciation.)
