In our game there were some secret tunnels, which were used either to sally forth and make bandit attacks on the Lunar Encampments and for bringing in supplies.
But a tunnel to Boldhome? It would have to be some sort of stargate. Not that implausible, given Mastakos. Jane you will remember my solution for getting my PC's into WW via the mists of Tarthcaer. Go Vinga!! :^)
