I have it and have only go to play it a couple of times. But the background info is fun. But then I always have liked Greg's writing.

I wouldn't discount Gregging here.

The Romans are also a mix, but post Marius most of the units presented themselves as Legionaries, with maybe a regional motif/ banner/.
