Yes, but I would query whether it was more 'fun' thus desirable.

I hadn't really though about the emergence of the Aeolians as the distinct culture [expalantion] that gave [parts of] Heortland its western flavour. I thought that the dominant Western culture was supposed to have informed the civic procedures and formalities. It would seem that we have moved to the Orlanthi as living entirely as a 'culture within a culture' in Heortland, with little or no overlap.

I agree there are strong logical and perhaps anthropological? arguments but I suggest it isn't the most fun thing to do in this situation.

I guess the thing is Ian is the seeming constant revision of perfectly acceptable existing material. As a fan I'd like to see more effort going into expanding our knowledge rather than the constant revision exercise.

Case in point, Trotskies western stuff. I am pretty sure that the drafts have been out there for years, the fans want them but we get the feeling as they are not some peoples pet projects they just get pushed further and further back.

And having perhaps some material set in Loskalm to fall back on whilst we waited for the GAC would have kept some of us gaming in Glorantha full stop.

Instead we get told 'don't do anything just yet as there is new information coming out'....and then when it finally appears after hiatus after hiatus its just a re-hack of the same stuff that, yes we loved for Sartar, but really did we need to regurgitate it for Heortland? I say not.

Cheers, Rob
