No one ever said that The Whitewall book was mentioned in this group first. Quite often, many of us see the yahoo groups as more of a single entity, one that most Gloranthans tend to follow as a whole. To me, the fact that it was talked about publicly, and the talk has started before the major writing effort has begun is far more important.
As for original content creation, at least 70% of the Sartar book is new material. That represents over 200 pages. That seems more than adequate to produce books. Working on these books is Jeff's day job, in case that wasn't known. This isn't an "occasional nights and weekends" effort.
