I think it depends how you view the "GL secret". If you want a fully fledged story/puzzle that you can throw at players it fall flat. If you are looking for something to spark story ideas it's got enormous potential. What if the identification of Erissa with Chalana Arroy is a result of GL fiddling and it falls apart in front of the PCs? Or perhaps the PCs find an account of a HQ to merge Gorgorma with Maran Gor?

Same with the Big Rubble. It's an outline sketch, you fill in the details and colour yourself.
