Deep *AND* Mature Glorantha WAS: The God Learner's Secret?

Glorantha is full of mature and phylosophical concepts

Very interesting. Seriously, could you name some?

Well I feel it like this anyway. First the myths of course. Myths are approached in a unique way. For example, even if the Orlanthi pantheon can't be compared to any known aquivalent on earth, it is stunning to know that everyone in a tula acts according to his deity and not only according to himself.
Glorantha can be played in as an RPG, but all the mythological involvment is more true than in any other game. Perhaps our Western civilization has lost many of this culture, but in fact every habits and customs has probably a mythological involment.

In fact Glorantha helps me understand why there are habits and customs. I mean for example, noone knows why it is said that moving under a ladder, seeing a black cat, or even the number 13 brings bad luck. This means just that even if you don't know the reason of this, you still know that this comes from oral stories which very probably have a mythological origin.

Our civilization lives mostly in a world devoid of faith where business and money (wealth) has much more importance in the family than to live in harmony. But still we are surrounded with myth without knowing it, unless of course we take some interest in this. It is as if it was included in our gene without we having any notion of it.

I'll go further (without proof, sorry) but I am persuaded psychology can't evolve as a studies if one doesn't include myths.

When I wrote mature, it is just that no other game setting give me such reflexion.
