Gonn Orta vs Nidan

According to an article in Different Worlds [June 1982], online at <http://www.glorantha.com/library/elder/dwarfs-jolanti.html>:

"In the Second Age there were many wars between the Elder Races. ... One of those fights was the destruction of part of the Nidan Mountain kingdom. ... Gonn Orta, a famous giant rumored to be yet alive, was one of many who helped defeat the Nidan kingdom."

Does anyone know when this happened? Those running a Second Age game might need to know. There's no mention in Glorantha. Peter Metcalfe has suggested that this might be the event at the end of Emperor Sothenik's reign (561 in Fortunate Succession), which is a plausible guess.
