Makabeus is a "Lunar Source". His methodology is cyclical, so if a non-cyclical spell is added to his repertoir, it becomes cyclical to his followers.

Example:

A Makabean steals a copy of the "Book of Accuracy" Grimoire from the Bardan's Book school and brings it back to the Tower of Bleak Despair. There the book is examined and eventually the "Use 'Book of Accuracy'" ability is discovered and the grimoire is added to those of the Order.

To the Bardan's Book sorcerers, the spells in the grimoire are *not* cyclical. At the same time, Makabeans using the Grimoire *do* have cyclical magic. it's not that the Grimoire and Spell nodes suddenly became cyclical, but that Makabeus' way of casting spells *makes* them cyclical

It's not the Worshipper, and it's not the Spell, but the way magic is taught by Makabeus (or any other Lunar Sorcery-user. (Lunar Spirits and Lunar feats *are* cyclical - it's just spells that are wierd this way).

Nope - if you join the Lunar religion (and keep your non-cyclical Common magic), it does *not* become cyclical. Nice idea, but not true.
