My bad - I didn't bother to look through the box for the DP Bat counter . Yep, in it's got the -1 MF. ((4) -1 9_at_ 0) In WBRM, the Bat was (4) 6* 9 (2). (In some ways I much prefer the WBRM rules - they have the counter stats in the book, so you don't have to check the counter itself).

So yes, you'd need two mundane units (and the bat all by itself) for a possibilty of the bat being eliminated by mundane means (only 2,000 men for a chance to kill the bat!).
