According to Peter, that makes Vadrudi "nice".

Anyway, Orlanth talked, and Valind _listened_. Next he'll become a lawyer... ;)

And there are sufficient cases of Orlanth hitting harder. He's just not believable as he steps back to talking again. You don't have to propitiate Orlanth, you can always try to evade him in the wilderness.
