Thanks very much for the insight into Praxian attitudes. It's reminded me just how different the nomads are in outlook. The (PC) outlander in question is quite right - letting himself be bound by the (NPC) nomads would be the end of his free life, and their 'word' to take him to the shamen could not be even remotely trusted.

Pity. The discussions with the shamen would be more interesting (about the difference between the legends of this pseudo-Prax and the original Prax), especially since he is a top-notch bard and a most persuasive fellow.

But sadly it seems the culture-clash will have to be resolved in the traditional manner - good ol' combat!
