OK, fine, that sounds far more sensible than what was being suggested earlier. I take it they'll have slowed down somewhat, but then farming doesn't require warrior's reflexes. And again, I'd guess that their general trend will be away from the muscle-work and towards the skilled end of things.

And they're the weirdo exceptions anyway, so never mind about them. If they do survive, it looks like they can go back to being farmers.

But all they *do* is put beans in the pot. So that's what their magic is for: must be! To augment the activities that define what they are.
