Fair enough. But that means that of the 15% of warriors who are female, most are Vingan. Say that's 10%, 5% for all the others (YGMV, maybe it's 7.5% Vingan, 7.5% the rest, whatever).

However, how many "warriors" are there? What is the number this percentage is calculating on? If the "warriors" are those that are, or want to be, members of the warband, then you would be looking at what, maybe 30 in a clan? So you get may 2-3 Vingans a clan. And maybe 1-2 scattered bewteen Urox, Humakt and the Gors.

Now if 15% of all women aren;t Ernalda, and you have 600 adults, so 300 women, you have 45 non-Ernaldan women in a clan - 42-43 of *not* Vingans.

Are they all in Heler - not convinced. Storm Tribe says (p.80) "Most clans have initiates of Heler, but few have more than one or two".

So if we have 30 warriors, "all" all being male, with have 4-5 women amongst them. We have a couple of Helerites. Still leaves almost 40 non-Ernaldan females unaccounted for. Sure, there's Chalanna Arroy, Issaries and Lhankor My. Even Eurmal. But they are all minorities.

So we are still looking for where the vast majority of non-Ernaldan women go....
