That's what you get if you just follow CHDP (KoS p145-146, 153-155).

But Minaryth Blue (KoS p211-213) has Kallyr alive after the battle of Old Top (1626) - where CHDP says she died, and does not mention her again. He says that she lights the flame in 1627 - which is the same year that CHDP has Argrath light it. They may well be talking about the same event.

He has Kallyr marry in 1629., although the husband is not named.

In 1630, according to Minaryth Blue, Kallyr kills Gunda and Harrek kills Kallyr and plunders Boldhome. According to him, that is when Kallyr's reign ends with Argrath Maniskison not taking over as Prince of Sartar until the following year.

Given all this and the view that CHDP was written for Argrath I don't see that we can simply trust CHDP.

Generally I'd trust Minayth Blue over CHDP, and either over the Annotated Argrath's Saga - which is late and rather confused. The Saga is best used as a supplement to the better sources. For instance it does mention Harrek sacking Boldhome which is left out of CHDP and gives us a bit more confidence in Minaryth Blue's account.
