Getting Chaotic

There are numerous examples of becoming chaotic by exposure - the heart of Snake Pipe Hollow, the First Battle of Chaos (creating the Mad Sultan and his horde), and I suppose entering the heart of Foulblood Forest, wrong parts of the Eternal Battle or Kyrmon's Gate may have similar results.

The final parts of the Gbaji Wars brought another source of chaos - powerful curses. Both Arkat and Talor appear to draw on existing chaos presence and increase it manifold.

Of course, Arkat may have been a chaos monster himself at this point. Maybe he was just shrieving his own chaotic taint into the country?
