You're quite right, I should have included the entirty of the quote. However, the entireity of that writeup and all the others mentioned suggests Krarsht is chaotic.

Actually, it seems like you are doing exactly that. Please, rather than sieze on one quote, why are all the other quotes and notes such as associated cults dismissed?

Now, before the shouting started, I was going to say something to the effect that those who do not know who they are worshipping may not be in any danger of being chaotic, they are just evil and greedy (or stupid) but those who know that they worship the Waiting Mouth, that would be a different story.

Now, if you want stomped hole in the ground to have been the source of the chaos that infected the krarshtkids, then that's fine but it doesn't really fit with the observed data all that well. If you want Krarsht to be a happy-shiny-icky-non-chaotic-that-happened to wander into the world with the other chaos gods (it mentions in the Cults Compendium "Krarsht (or she).. and the other chaos gods" in several places.

So, its a novel interpretation but one that is definitely YGMV.
