Ogres are a different species than Human, not just "humans who happen to be cannibals". So to "stop being an ogre" requires a heroquest on the order of "Becoming a troll" like Arkat did.

You have to magically change your physionomy, not just beat a craving. "Crave Human Flesh" is simply an ability in ther Ogre species keyword - it's not the defining mark of Ogredom.
