The trouble with that is that boars are already an important part of Wenelia. So to make Umathela yet another Boaring place doesn't appeal to me much.

Considering that Shoveltuskers are found in Fonrit, I prefer to see Umathela herders with a variety of archaic mammals rather than just boars all over the place. Mesohippus for example fed on fruits and twigs, the Entelodonts (still boarish) actually fed on carrion while the Giant Sloths would have been easy to herd.
