I like the idea that some creatures have an inherent language. So feral broo will develop their own language that has some inherent traits. Two groups of feral broo would be able to communicate with each other at a certain level. Non-feral broo would have different languages that have developed over time, but they would still be able to speak to feral broo using the inherent parts of the language.
