There is no mystic otherworld and never was. The otherworlds are
part of the non-physical and the mystic state is that which is neither
physical nor non-physical.
In Kralorela dragons are what mortals see when they try to comprehend
mystic concepts. They are limited masks of something boundless. In
Vithela, these masks are the High Gods.
Wacky theory: perhaps the elder giants are failed mystics?
