Since what I wrote was clearly stated to be IMO, I'm rather hazy about the necessity for this dull list of possibilities. Simple culture clashes are simply boring - what makes glorantha interesting is the mythical and magical reasons.

No, it doesn't. Harstar conquered Melib in that year in the name of Hisgoranstar of Gach a mythical hero whose shaming by the gods of melib brought about the famous lethargy.

Doesn't say that the people responsible were God Learners does it? By placing the blame on Errinoru, I've done something a little more interesting than the old boring "God Learners are to blame for everything".

Nope. It was intended to be a tart comment about a new found wrinkle in the chronology about the God Learners conquering Eest before the battle of the Lopers. But since MSE has the Blues seeking the Leaper of the Ages rather than losing the Sword of Dengbalu, the comment was abandoned.
