I really think it's bollocks similar to that of Hellenistic Ideas about how the Medes were the descendents of Medea and the Persians the descendents of Perseus.

That some Kachasti fell to worshipping false gods has been broaded by Malkioni rivals (ie Brithini, Waertagi etc) into a general attack that all the pagans of Genertela have fallen Kachasti as their ancestors.

The Orlanthi came from the south and Vingkot was known long before Heort.

The Vingkotlings are extinct. Their descendents are the Heortlings of Sartar and Heortland, many of the Orlanthi of South Peloria (but not the Talastari) and the Esrolians.
