In terms of the filioque analogy, the correct magic for the wizards would not be the incantation but to actually ensure that their magic proceeds from both the father and the son (or not in case the church is orthodox). Simply saying the words is not enough. If a church official looks at you and sees that you are drawing your magic incorrectly, you would be in for a world of hurt...
