I agree with Andrew. Further, I tend to engage with the complexities of
the rules for different types of magic at chargen and breathe a sigh of
relief once all that is over. I then forget most of the situations when
one can or can't do this or that. I forget to add +3 for a suit of
armour and that sort of thing too, usually.
