This too, makes sense, and just as we might detail the physical form of our charms and the words or actions of our spells, we might note down what sacrifices we are required to make to maintain the favour of our Gods

Except you can learn Talents - Flesh Man, for instance teaches them, so they can't *just* be innate abilities. (Again, this is part of my confusion. Why isn't Flesh man one of the "folk heroes" that provides Common Magic feats rather than talents?)
