I can't speak for Ian, but as someone who broadly agrees with him: Yes, I understand where you're coming from. But those are all good examples of things I *don't* want to play. Or at least, not very often. (And I'd say the same about a stickpicker, for that matter). That's not to say I expect everyone to share my tastes.
