All Humakti are outside of the clan. This is the sort of rite, however, that folk would want a Humakti holy man to preside over.

Remember, Humakti cut off from all other men and women, and form a cult of sacred killers. They are both feared, despised and respected by other Orlanthi. They have no sense of justice or loyalty to their clan - only to their Death God, themselves and their master. However, they rigidly follow the commandments of their God of Killers. If a Humakti gives an oath, all Orlanthi would trust the oath.

If two clans are willing to have a duel resolve their differences, a Humakti would preside over the duel.
