BTW, I am surprised more people don't have campaigns involving the Holy Country's slide into civil strife, war, and magical conflict. For three hundred years, the 3 million residents of the Holy Country had enjoyed peace, prosperity and stability (with the exception of the ever turbulent Orlanthi of Heortland). In 1616, all that gets blown into bits.

Heck, it has it all going on there - Jar-Eel, Harrek, Greymane, King Broyan, Fazzur Wideread, ambitious Esrolian queens, Esvularing sorcerers, trolls and Kitori plotting the return of the Darkness, the Queen of the Bagogi, Brithini exiles, deceitful dwarfs and Caladralanders trying to do God knows what! What a setting!
