Yeah, even so. We are talking about Glorantha, not Earth. Mythology, anathema and tabu are much more concrete forces on Glorantha than on earth. The results of Heortlings committing forbidden things are real and not just psychological. On glorantha when you commit monstrous deeds you truly become a monster. I wouldn't cheapen this for the sake of emulating real world atrocities.
