OTOH, they (Mongoose) do appear to have opened up the depiction of magic in Glorantha, albeit clumsily, so that it is possible to depict various magical methods as separate from any over-reaching heavy cosmology as well as from the overly simple RQ2 model.

The various magics are instead depicted as quite separate and free from each other, and that IMO is A Very Good Thing...
