It would be a bit more than odd loner - Odayla is one of the few cults for people that *want* to be alone. Odaylans don't come into "Civilization" (ie, the steadlands) very often, and they like it that way. (See Storm Tribe 144 - "Most hunters gather only for Seasonal Rites", Because most Odaylans rarely return to their community...").

I wrote them to be the "Mountain men" of the Orlanthi - long-ranging hunters, seen as half (or more) mad by the settled folk, but with the skills and attitude that being alone for long periods in the wilderness requires (which, alos, coincidently, will be a blessing when the Fimbulwinter hits...). They'll be found more in the mountains surrounding Dragon Pass than the hills of Sartar - there just isn't enough "wilderness" in Sartar! Suring the Fimbulwinter of Orlanth is Dead, they gather closer to their community and help keep them alive (those that don't just Sleep the winter away, of course).
