Hello,

This is a very inspiring thread. Thanks for the contributors! :)

In my campaign, set in northern highland Sartar/Far Place, hunting is very important, and the Odaylans thus have an important role for the whole Orlanthi society.

This is not Heortland or Sartar, and the Orlanthi have traditions that trace back to Tarsh/Sylila. With this is mind, I've allowed myself to include an Odaylan clan in my campaign. Yes, Odaylan meaning that the chieftain and most of the menfolk are Odaylans.

This, of course, is very special, even in the special region of Far Place.

I have introduced new (non-canon) traditions to the Odaylans, including an Odaylan subcult for chieftain, and a heavy mixing of animistic and theistic practices in what is termed in my campaign the Brynavading tradition.

This just as an example of how versatile the Odaylan cult can be in individual Gloranthas. :)

I'm writing my campaign notes down. They will become available to the general public, in one form or another, sooner or (more likely) later. ;)
