Thanks all! I was having trouble imagining what the Darkness was like - and whether it was the death of the world-as-a-physical-thing as well. It looks like it wasn't, or perhaps it just didn't get that far.

I wondered if the Compromise might have recreated things, thereby avoiding mass serial nudity at the Dawn. :)
