During the Great Darkness the Only Old One enslaved the peoples of Kethaela. The Living God slew the evil demigod and rescued the land. Trolls and backwoodsmen like to claim that the Only Old One save the world from Chaos. They are prime examples of the spiritual darkness which the Only Old One blighted the Holy Country with. The war was a natural reaction of life against chaos and would have occurred even if the Only Old One had never been born. But because they cannot free themselves from their inner darkness, they must delude themselves with lies that their benightenment is beneficial.
