The leader of the Troll Woods (was it Vamargic Eye Necklace) during
the troll wars of 1380 is described as an intelligent Great Troll, the
son (or daughter, can't remember) of two cave trolls (if my memory is
correct). I would now assume or conclude that this character was
really a Kitori in troll form, and so were his parents.
Alternatively, he was just trying to make him/herself more scary
sounding.
