For those of you interested in the Eastern Glorantha

Goblins / Imps ("Ede") are mischevious inhabitants of the Dreamworld that delight in confounding dreamers and leading mystics astray.

They are mostly harmless, but enough of them at once (or their inopportune meddling on say, a HeroQuest) can be prove to be quite troublesome.
