I am swayed by your description of an endless urban sprawl in Teshnos, albeit overgrown with jungle, underpopulated and partially in ruins. It makes for an excellent adventure setting for one thing, and fits with the history of the area and the easy lives of the inhabitants. Teshnos is not, after all, a tough land of barbaric cow herds feuding with each other and worshipping storms, but and elegant and sophisticated place where women are beautiful ("look great" charm) and magic is powerful (500 religions!).
