Thanks for your ideas about using Sea Magics againts a ghost

Many thanks for your colorful, picturesque ideas. I now have a pretty clear idea of how the rematch vs. the sorcerer ghost is going to go.

The ludochs will give/sell the PC (after negotiations of course) some pure Essence Water to douse his false flame. The PCs will have to coordinate to draw a triangle with this water around the ghost.

The Knight in the group will have "Reflect Light" cast/put on his shield to keep the ghost busy while the others, no fighters at all, do their thing.

There were many other very good ideas which I'll keep for later ; some of my players tell me the last game was too intense, that they felt desesperation against such a powerful foe. I hadn't realized they were so deeply in the game, so the revenge vs. the ghost will be easier. Said ghost will already have his/its hands full when they attack it.

Oh yes : the nice part is, they'll have to make a hard choice about the ghost : either destroy it for good OR free its many ghost slaves, relatives and ancestors of current citizens. It's one or the other, not both. Unless they surprise me again by coming up with something unexpected and brilliant !
