Is it also possible that the "Lunar Sorcerors" are not some Lunar magicians "imposed" on Kangharl to ensure he sticks to the party line, but loyal sartarite vassals of his who have converted to the Lunar way - Kangharl can openly discuss anything in front of them since they are "his" men first and Lunars second.
