People who meditate for extended periods of time are mystics. As such they are found in all religions whether sorcerors (Malkioni monks), theistic (retired Yelmalions in a tower, Stormwalkers) or animist.

Some religions were said by the God Learners (note well, we have shifted from an external description to an internal description) to be mystical - namely the Kralori, the Teshnans and the Vithelans. The Kralori are draconists, not mystics while the bulk of Teshnan and Vithelan magics could be described in conventional magical terms.
