Every right-thinking Kralori knows that dragonflies are imperfect creatures striving for draconic perfection. Beginning as mere worms, many are eaten by other beasts (and cooked up in delicious Boshan stir-fries!), but some transform into shining dragon insects. There many hues reflect their potentially complex nature, and their multifaceted eyes see many realities. These too are tasty and additionally beneficial for one's own draconic development.

Sometimes a rare dragonfly metamorphoses into an even higher form The Golden Dragonfly of the capital is an example, and the Dragonfly Storm of Wanzow Province may be another.

Draconic potential is everywhere in the world, thanks to the Cosmic Dragon.
