Soon, the players in my Fay Jee campaign will have to organize their first
"market of the waves", a trading session with the local ludoch clans. I know
what the ludoch can offer (coral, old Slontos relics, etc.) but less what they
could want from humans. "Dry Foods" only go so far.
Specifically, I know they value items of aluminium, the metal of the sea.
Spearheads, knives, etc. would be a great item to trade with them. But where do
you find aluminium ? Why would it be on land rather than in the seas ? Is the
"raw material" always in quicksilver (liquid) form ?
And how can the mermen make their own aluminium items under the seas anyway ? It must eat a lot of their magics.
Anyway, any of your ideas, comments, suggestions are welcome. I don't care about cannon - good ideas are good ideas...
