It's a legitimate method of resolution. Where the God Learners erred was they applied it into the speech and teachings of pagans and got mislead.

If they refuse, usually making clucking sounds and strutting like a chicken makes them reconsider. The real problem is that the insight contest worked because the Jrusteli recognized each others oracles as valid and use it to resolve contradictions. Quoting the Revelations of Ashara to a Rokari on the other hand is about as convincing as quoting the New Testament to a Rabbi. Furthermore Rokari truth spells are biased in favour of their scriptures.
