I've toyed with the idea of a leader subcult of Odayla (the Bear Chief).

I think the point is to create a situation, a social need, a mythos, where a prominent member of the specialist god needs to take the position of a leader. In a normal clan, such situations rarely arise, the leader (Dar) aspects of Orlanth and Ernalda (and in some traditions, Elmal) usually being the best and natural ones.
