And it's not like they're planning to become chief. Leading a band is something entirely different and certainly less dangerous. Again though, it's the devotion and whether or not they can do their job and remain true to their calling. If they can, brilliant. If not, then they have a decent story. It is just that some religious callings simply don't let you be a leader. And some gods are disinclined to it in general. I don't think Yinkin's a leader on the whole. That said, I recall that he is a shepherd's cat and knows how to herd sheep! People are sheep. What could possibly go wrong? (yes, I am liking the idea a little more now that I have a better grasp of the situation)
My concern was that some careers (like chief) make being the wrong sort of religious fanatic dicey. And in those cases, the consequences can be dire for the worshiper and his hapless community.
