Which is handled through their runes. I would advise the player to start developing the rune for the appropriate magics they are interested in. If the hero then decides to devote to Issaries, then he will have to heroquest to "discover" these abilities as feats for Issaries. Of course having discovered some new magic then they are well on the way to becoming a true Hero and being worshiped by others to gain these new and wondrous magics. However, such radical new ways are not likely to be supported by the clan, so the hero is on his own to try and find the new path through the heroplane.... source for many an exciting and dangerous adventure :-))
