Very cool! Surely there are regions of blue water, red water, and poison water in Glorantha's oceans. And of course the undersea rivers.

Some of it might have to do with the God Learners, and the Battle of Tanien's Victory (see http://www.glorantha.com/greg/seshnelanKings2.html if you're not familiar with it).
