There is the human sacrifice every 17 days that happens in Teshnos. I was never sure if this was actually secret assassination rather than the more theatrical top of a pyramid heart ripping one imagines for, for example, the Kingdom of Ignorance.

In my game I had the Loper People as the descendants of the Artmali Impperial cavalry - ie in a way a similar remnant to the Zebra Cavalry (ie a military units) of Pavis who become a tribe of people. The Agimori, similarly stranded in Prax and also from Pamaltela had unfinished business with the Loper Cavalry. (where the Lopers were the secret bastard children of Eiritha and Artmal after a visit to the (Blue) Moon by Eiritha disguised as Cathora.

The Teshnos/Melib connection is what links the Godlearners to the history of the Blue Moon. However, I don't believe the godlearners did anything to meld these different cults into some sort of unified Moon cult, even though they should clearly have been very interested in the Tides, and also Secrets.
