Whatever Chalana Arroy priestess a clan has access to is "theirs". Chalana Arroy herself operates outside the clan structure.

Chalana Arroy is the source of that power. She is the source of all healing for the Orlanthi. Bevara is a more useful cult, less restrictive, better integrated into clan and tribe. But even the gods revere Chalana Arroy. Everyone worships her, even if few belong to her cult.
